Charity climb for a cure

United Capital are really proud to have JDRF as our group charity partner. JDRF are a charity that funds research into type 1 diabetes, and over the years we have done various things to raise funds for them, including a 400km cycle from Vietnam to Cambodia, which company owners, Leanne and Graeme Carling completed in 2019.

2021 marked the 100th anniversary of the discovery of insulin, which has saved millions of lives, so we wanted to do something extra special to raise awareness and funds for JDRF which does such important work all over the World.

In February 2023 we will be asking people to join us, the United Capital group, along with Leanne, Graeme and their kids, as we climb the highest mountain in Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro. It will take around a week to complete the climb and descent and it will be an incredible experience, and we will be raising money for a really important cause.

The trip itself costs £3,000, and this is a minimum that anyone joining us would have to pay. The point of the trip is to raise both awareness, and funds for JDRF, so we are suggesting that anyone looking to join us, pledges to raise about £5,000.

For anyone interested in spending a week with our team, as we raise funds for this amazing charity, please complete the form below to register your interest. The trip is scheduled to take place between 10th and 16th February 2023.
