Why Decarbonisation?

United Capital is a fast-growing decarbonisation investment group, based in and operating across the UK.

Decarbonising the built environment is a priority for the building services industry, and only United Capital is bringing together companies which can deliver the largest public sector and commercial renewables contracts. Founded by Graeme and Leanne Carling in 2019, and led by a hugely experienced board, United Capital has already acquired a number of companies which are positioned to lead efforts to decarbonise the built environment, and will be continuing its acquisition strategy with a goal of achieving £500 million turnover by 2024

An ethos of sustainability

The UK decarbonisation sector is highly fragmented and constantly changing at pace. By bringing together a group large enough to resource, reskill, and refocus on delivering large-scale eco contracts, United Capital is transitioning to a sustainability ethos, both in the work it delivers, and in how group companies operate. Group companies are transforming how they work by planning and implementing zero-carbon strategies, and embedding changes such as investing in solar panels and electric vehicle fleets.

Unmatched renewables expertise

Across the group, United Capital delivers the full suite of renewable technologies, including air and ground source heat pumps, electric vehicle charging points, solar battery storage, and solar photovoltaic panels. Having already built a reputation as renewables experts with dozens of public sector organisations, we are now set to expand our capacity to meet the demands of the market.

Few companies have the group strength and expertise to meet the challenges of the next few years, as incoming legislation –such as the requirement for new buildings across England to have electric vehicle charging points from 2022 –puts renewables expertise at a premium.

Join United Capital to future-proof your business

If your building services company is on the brink of transitioning to the renewables sector, joining United Capital offers the support to achieve that, opening up new markets with the public sector and commercial customers alike. Without a shift to renewables small-medium building services companies are at risk, and can be future-proofed by joining a group which has the stability and scale to win the largest government eco and renewables contracts.
